Why are there holes like this on the end faces of the guide rails?

All rails in our product line are equipped with these holes at both ends. Whether or not you use them, simply insert the provided pins to ensure proper alignment and centering of the rails. After the rail is installed, the PIN can be removed. This is to facilitate adjustment of the center of the connecting rail.
